HPL Additives Limited owes all its achievements to its Research &Development centers. The R&D centers have empowered HPLA to develop new products and technologies, improve manufacturing processes and contribute to a sustainable environment allowing it to stay one step ahead in today's dynamic and ever-changing industry. It is due to these vast in-house research & development capabilities, that HPLA was successful in establishing a strong presence in both the domestic as well as the international markets.

HPLA has two R&D centers.Both R&D Centersare well equipped with state of art equipment and personnel, and are recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, under Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Technology and Innovation

Technology and innovation has been played a vital role in HPLA's road to success in terms of technologyoptimization, profitable growth and the introduction of new products. Furthermore, it has ensured HPLA to excel in smart applications and analytical and regulatory solutions to its customers, in turn allowing it to successfully meet customer demands.

HPLA takes pride in the in-house development and introduction of a range of Plastic Additives like Chemical Blowing Agents (both exothermic and endothermic), Azo-initiators, Antioxidants, UV-light Stabilizers, Optical Brighteners,Chain Extenders, Hydrazine Hydrate, Hydrazides and many Specialty Chemicals.

Furthermore, HPLA has developed core technology competences that are foundations of chemistry capabilities like: Hydrolysis, Alkylation, Condensation, Cyanation, Halogenations, Amonolysis,Mannich Reaction, Nitrososation, Oxidation, Pyrolytic Elimination, Trans-esterification, Friedal-craft arylation, Nucleophilic substitution, Etherification. Besides various chemical reactions,HPLA has expertise in selective crystallization, distillation, micronizing and many other Unit Operations. HPLA believes that it can leverage this expertise in Plastic Additives and Specialty Chemicals to offer innovative products and services, which in turn give it a vital competitive edge, allowing its customers to improve the quality of their products.
